Stripes Grand Opening in Mercedes

Great news! Stripes opened another store in Mercedes, Texas.  Raul Hernandez, Charles “Chuck” Tellam, and Gene Garcia, store manager, welcomed everyone with open arms and hosted the grand opening that was celebrated Tuesday, April 14th with a ribbon cutting. As part of our community and charitable giving, The Boys and Girls Club of Mercedes was the receiptent of a $500 check.  During the grand opening event,  we welcomed our new customers by providing giveaways and samples.   Customers were also able to take part in the “Spin and Win” game, where customers can spin the prize wheel to win free soft drinks, hot dogs, t-shirts, etc.  In addition to the free giveaways and samples, there were 25¢ promotions that provided great deals on soft drinks and snack items, and 4 $50 gas cards were giveaway.  Our energetic and exciting mascots were also in attendance to greet customers and pose for pictures.
