March of Dimes Mobile Campaigns
Mobile Campaigns are important to Stripes, because of their ability to create a direct company partnership with customers to raise funds for deserving causes. With Stripes dedication to making differences in the lives of children, it was a perfect match to team up with the March of Dimes Foundation to host a mobile campaign in 2008.
The March of Dimes Foundation is a national organization that is dedicated to participating in research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. With this as their mission, Stripes’ goal was to assist them through funding provided by a mobile campaign. Store managers and cashiers went above and beyond their call of duty, raising $216,000 by asking customers if they would donate to the March of Dimes Foundation. Promotional coupons were given to customers as incentives to donate $1 or more to the cause. The 2008 mobile campaign surpassed all expectations and the proceeds went to helping babies grow and live healthier and happier lives nationwide.
