Stripes Assists with Hurricane Ike Relief

Hurricane Ike was a storm that devestated parts of Houston and Galveston, leaving many residents without the necessities of power and food.  We at Stripes, teamed up with our friends at Real Country 97.5 KFTX radio station in Corpus Christi, to help assist the victims of Hurricane Ike.  On September 23, KFTX radio broadcasted live from our Support Center, requesting donations for the Food Bank of Corpus Christi and the American Red Cross.  Those that made a donation received a chance to spin our Stripes prize wheel, as well as enter for a chance to win a $100 gas card!  Thanks to the generous support of the public, as well as members of the Stripes family, we collected $518 to benefit the American Red Cross, and 988 pounds of food for the Corpus Christi Food Bank!  It was a great way to show support for our friends in the Houston and Galveston areas.
