Residents & commuters alike have a new fast, friendly, and convenient place to shop.
	On August 25, 2006  Stripes officially opened it's doors to the public.  The mayor, city council members and other dignitaries were a part of this very special South Texas celebration. Customers were able to cash in on fantastic deals, all while sampling some of best menu items from the Laredo Taco Company.
Our friends from radio stations C101 and K-99 were on hand, and brought their loyal listeners with them to sign up for FREE gas, and and to check out the new store. the Orange Grove High School cheerleaders were also a part of the event by fundraising with product donated by our friends at Coke.
	The Stripes experience...there's nothing like it.
